I didn't do Anything today

I woke up. I got dressed. I fed the pets.

I took the dogs on a car ride.

I took my dog on a walk.

I ate breakfast.

I grieved.

I stomached lunch. It wasn’t much.

I scanned and filed some paperwork.

I paid a bill.

I mourned at my desk.

I wrote in my journal.

I took a note in my planner.

I wrote a poem. I cried again.

I did some things today. I didn’t do some things today.

It wasn’t much.

But it wasn’t nothing. I survived, and some days that’s enough.
